Varicose Veins

11th November 2008
Varicose Veins is some thing that is quite common among middle age class group and old folks. Although its not fatal but then again, its not some thing that is nice to go through either. In varicose veins, a steady upright position produces stagnation of bloood in the legs, and pressure on veins, which then enlarge. The walls of the veins become relaxed and the veins themselves will often protrude or will press inwardly upon the nerves of the leg sufficiently to cause quite painful symptoms. Ulsers may form on the vein and these ulsers will exude amount of serum and finally blood.

This cannot be cured by lotions or by medications. Surgery is expensive and painful.
Normally in surgery, the entire section of the veins will be removed. Temporary relief can be obtained with an elastic stocking (which makes the vein weaker and causes addtional trouble) but the trouble will return. The first sign of trouble is a dull and aching painful sensation. The veins become much larger, knotted and distended and sometimes burst.

Reportedly, varicose veins can be cured by rapid healing, rapid cleansing foods and a cleansing diet. A drugless doctor reports "Local treatment of a beneficial kind may be used by the application several times a day of a piece of ice to the enlarged veins where the ice pressed directly against the swollen part. This treatment should be continued from 3 to 4 minutes during which time the muscles in the wall of the veins will become strengthened by the contraction produced by the ice and treat at least twice a day, as often as possible. Bear in mind the benefit to the whole circulatory system to be derived from living on a carefully selected diet. If varicose ulcers exist, they will dissapear very rapidly during the FAST"

"A woman,73, had large varicose veins in the lower part of both legs and several varicose ulcers. The pain was so great she could hardly walk. I immediately applied a strong treatment with the ultra violet ray (from a mercury quartz generator) treating ulcers for 20 seconds. The patient was advised to take plain water fast for 4 days, using 2 enemas daily. After this, she was put on a general diet. When she return to my office(10 days later) I found that the ulcers were entirely healed, having been completely cured by the diet regimen and the one ultra violet light treatment. All pains in the legs and lower back had entirely dissapear but there was still come enlargement of the veins in the legs. Accordingly, she was sent home with instructions to apply treatment with ice. After another month, she returned and the examination disclosed no sign of varicose veins. I adviced her to apply the ice occasionally as a preventive measure and to remain on her well balanced diet. That was 3 years ago and the patient has had no return of either varicose veins or ulcers"
